AM TRACE has an immediate opening for a National Business Development Representative Executive to support state and local efforts through the COVID-19 Contact Tracing program nationwide. This is a remote position and can start immediately. This person will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer and CEO and will work closely with solutions experts (public health program leaders) and TRACE leadership.
The scale and complexity of the COVID-19 outbreak has underscored the need for prompt and effective implementation of evidence-based containment measures. Contact tracing is one of the interventions that has been used to effectively control recent pandemics (Ebola, SARS), and has shown to be effective against COVID-19 mitigation in South Korea, New Zealand and elsewhere.
AM-TRACE has identified highly effective methodologies for recruiting, onboarding and training highly qualified health professionals to manage our best-in-class and scalable contact tracing programs for state and local customers. This successful Business Development Executive will interface with our clients at the state and local levels to procure contracts for our COVID-19 Contact Tracing and other programs
In this outbound sales role you will primarily connect with State, County and Municipal Health Department officials and political leaders to understand their challenges with managing the COVID-19 pandemic in their jurisdiction, and invite them to discuss with us how we might potentially partner with them to help close the gaps in their mitigation strategies and reduce the spread of the disease.
Some of your responsibilities will be:
+ Commit to a fully planned workday and week, frequently across multiple time zones, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
+ Exhibit competence with online video meetings and presenting a professional appearance and setting within your home office.
+ Keeping our salesforce.com database up-to-date in real time every day, using our databases of leads and various features of the CRM system to plan and execute your work.
+ Develop and demonstrate creative and sophisticated ways to approach health and political leaders via channels such as video, phone, social media, tailored emails, and others.
+ Continuously learn and improve your understanding of COVID-19 mitigation strategies and TRACE’s capabilities to help customers improve their management of the disease.
+ Work closely with TRACE’s sales and solution engineer resources to schedule and handoff quality follow-om meetings with qualified prospective customers.
+ Achieve daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s tied to activity and achievement goals
+ As time allows, sit in on follow-on sales and solutions discussions with prospective customers to improve your understanding of TRACE’s capabilities. (they’re continuously evolving and growing!)
+ Ramp-up quickly and hit the ground running with a start-up mentality. Your days, calendar and to-do list will not be laid out for you. You must demonstrate the initiative to take on the work in front of you, be accountable problem-solve, and seek help when needed.
+ Continuously test new ideas and methodologies as well as share your thoughts on how we can be a greater asset to the market and our customersl
+ Manage multiple software applications, including Salesforce and several other marketing and sales software tools.
The experience and qualifications you will have:
+ At least 2-5 years of experience in B2B or B2G sales in an Inside Sales setting where you did not read from a script.
+ A bachelors degree is desirable, an associates degree is highly preferred, but strong relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree completion.
+ Experience at a start-up company is highly preferred.
+ Strong, professional presence on video hosted (Zoom-like) meetings.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical.
+ High levels of attention to detail and a master at managing your day and week for maximum efficiency.
+ A willingness to be coached to reach desired outcomes.
+ A curious and strong desire to pursue a greater understanding of public health challenges and the management of COVID-19.
An attractive base salary will be offered to the selected candidate, including a performance-based sales incentive plan that could improve total compensation by 25%..
TRACE is based and headquartered in the Washington, DC area, but is a 100% remote organization with team members located around the U.S. You will work from your home office and travel will be rare.
