Healthcare Administrative Office AssistantRemote Position HCSS is looking for a candidate with fantastic communication and interpersonal skills that will contribute to the efficient day-to-dayDuties & Responsibilities: Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to employees, clients, and consumers Responsible for overall client satisfaction and customer serviceJob Summary: Healthcare Consulting and Solutions Services organization. The ideal candidate must have a professional demeanor, be a self-starter and a problemoperations of our Healthcare Consulting solver, be able to think outsideof the box, have the ability to multi-task, and the ability to handle stressful situations. Answer telephone and email inquiries and channel them appropriately Maintain files, supplies, postage, and general office condition in an orderly manner Assist in maintaining and updating provider data within the credentialing software system Intake new clients, verify insurance eligibility, and reconcile payments through various softwaresystems Interact with representatives from health plans to answer inquiries and clarify requirements Research and resolve provider related enrollment and/or claims issues Follow-up with payers regarding provider enrollment status and maintains documentation andreporting regarding the enrollment process Assist team with other administrative, enrollment and claims functions, as neededKnowledge, Skills & Abilities: At least one year of experience in an administrative role working in a physician's office, hospital or medical clinic Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel Maintain high levels of organization while being extremely focused on details Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Capable of meeting time-sensitive deadlines for multiple tasks, be a self-starter and a team player Excellent customer service skills Professional and courteous in tone and information delivery Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion Capable of working independently Spanish fluency a plusEducation:High School Diploma, required. Associate's Degree preferredSalary, Benefits & Hours: $14.00 to $16.00/hour Competitive Pay Direct Deposit Four paid holidays every year (after 90-day probationary period) This is a Part-Time position to go Full-Time within 6 months. Hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Regular attendance is required.
